This Privacy Policy explains what information PartyParty collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run your events, and we don’t sell your data.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, and login details when you create an account.
• Event content — the details you add about events, guests, lodging, tasks, and messages.
• Guest information — contact details and RSVP responses that organizers add or guests submit.
• Usage data — basic technical information (such as device and log data) that helps us keep the Service secure and reliable.

How we use it

• to provide and operate the Service — RSVPs, lodging, payments, and communication;
• to send transactional emails (invitations, reminders, and updates) you ask us to send;
• to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
• to improve PartyParty over time.

How we share it

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run PartyParty — for example, hosting and database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe), and hosting infrastructure (Vercel) — and only as needed to provide the Service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Email and communication

Organizers use PartyParty to email their guests. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests for non-essential messages.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content, it’s removed from your view; we may retain limited records as required for security, legal, or accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can access and update your account information at any time, and you can request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data — contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children

PartyParty isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above.
